Chief Executive Officer
Kristin Knox is the Chief Executive Officer of Kernelyze and manages the day-to-day operations of the business.
Kristin holds a Ph.D. in Business Economics, as well as A.M. and A.B. degrees in Economics from Harvard University. She has worked in both the higher education and financial services industries.
Thomas Knox is the creator of the algorithm that is the backbone of the Kernelyze software. Thomas developed a novel approximation that minimizes the worst-case error between a sign-regular function of two variables and a sum of products of one-variable functions.
Thomas holds a Ph.D. in Business Economics, as well as S.M. and A.B. degrees in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University. He taught finance at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business before leaving to work in the financial services industry. He has more than 13 years of experience in portfolio management and quantitative research.
He currently serves as a member of the Fortran J3. He is also a trustee of Brimmer and May School.
